About us
President's letter
The Hoop Tennis Club is by history, tradition and facilities one of the best tennis clubs in the province of Girona. As Board of Directors we have the duty to preserve this asset, built day by day by many families and members who have made the Club their second home.
One of the commitments of this Board of Directors has been from day one, the approach of the management to the partner. In this sense, the Partners have on the web, an open channel of suggestions for the Club to cover, as far as possible, your needs or concerns. With the contribution of all the management of the Club will be more effective.
So that, We invite you to participate and we encourage you to send us historical photographs or topics of interest to make this, our web, as inclusive and participatory as possible.
Club history
THE HOOP TENNIS CLUB, born in 1973, being the first Club on the Costa Brava dedicated to this sport that, then, it still did not enjoy the wide diffusion that it currently enjoys.
In the decade of the 70 the Annie Soisbault Cup and the Spanish Amateur Championship were disputed.
In the decade of the 90 the Copa del Sol was played (conquered in 1991), Spanish Veterans Championship, Championship of Catalonia Sub-13, Master of the Summer Youth Circuit of Catalonia, and Catalonia Open drugs in a wheelchair. Currently open as the Championship of Catalonia U-11 are held, Spanish Wheelchair Championship, and competitions of all categories.
